Grizzlies Butt Heads with the Sacramento Kings

Sparks (and technicals) flew at last nights game against the Sacramento Kings.  The Grizzlies came up short, with a final score of 90-102.  However, in true Grizzlies fashion, “physical” was the name of the game.  In an interview with ESPN, Tony Allen said, “”we didn’t respect them, and they were the aggressors tonight.  They played with a lot of passion.  Normally, that’s us.”  Even though the Kings rose to the occasion and found a way to out muscle the Grizzlies, they still managed to walk away with two of the three technical fouls handed out.  Z-Bo earned his technical after a layup in the third quarter, by shoving and exchanging words with Kings center, DeMarcus Cousins.  While Grizzlies coach, David Joerger, also earned a technical in the second half of the game.  The game escalated quickly for both teams, but unfortunately, the Kings were able to maintain composure long enough to win the game.
