Grizzlies Fall to the Washington Wizards
The Grizzlies were defeated last night by the Washington Wizards 107-87. The Grizzly Rookies had big shoes to fill, after Mike Conley, Tony Allen, Marc Gasol, and Zach Randolph were all benched for an ankle injury and rest. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies spent the majority of the game on their heels, trying to keep up with the Wizards.
A twenty point loss on an easy win is something the Grizz don’t need this season. We were only 38.8% in shooting and 3-19 from beyond the arc. While four guys were out, it is still problematic to have such low shooting percentages.
Disappointing games worry GrizzNation about the playoff potential. The wizards had 11 steals last night.

Hopefully when we return to the Grindhouse on Saturday, the Grizz will be back in action and confident with a full “rested” team.
