Memphis Grizzlies vs Los Angeles Lakers Preview
Happy Veterans Day, Grizzlies fans!
Our Memphis Grizzlies will return home tonight to FedEx Forum where they will face off against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Tonight the Grizzlies will be facing a Lakers team whose roster has been considerably shortened due to injuries, with Steve Nash, Nick Young, and Julius Randle all out indefinitely, and Wayne Ellington, who is understandably absent after the tragic death of his father Sunday night.
On the court for the Lakers tonight will be the franchise’s star, Kobe Bryant, and also former Memphis Grizzlies power forward Ed Davis.
Following last Saturday’s disappointing loss in Milwaukee, one hopes that tonight we will see a team with a renewed focus and a return to the aggressive style of play that has defined the early part of the season.
The widely acknowledged struggle from our bench players since the start of the regular season has been particularly frustrating, and something is going to need to change in that regard sooner rather than later if this team is to continue being one of the dominant forces in the Western Conference this season.
