A Few Things:

Sad bear is sad
The Suns, really? I’m not even sure how to describe this one, because the Grizzlies were off to a promising, albeit slow, start and closed out the first half with a 59-53 lead.
If there was a Reader’s Digest version of this game recap it would probably go like this: Ugly 1st quarter that closed with a tie. Grizzlies dominated 2nd quarter, scoring 35 to the Suns 29. Halftime (what the hell happened here?) Suns own the Grizzlies on both ends of the floor in the 3rd, scoring 32 points and holding Memphis to just 15 points, yes really 15. Suns start the 4th making ALL THE 3-POINT BUCKETS, and the Grizzlies were never able to regain the lead. Game ends, Suns win, Grizzlies fans weep. Fin.
Birdman’s wings clipped? Chris Andersen exited the game during the 2nd quarter and

Or Grizz-zilla, whichever.
headed to the locker room with an injured left shoulder. Andersen had only recently moved into the starting lineup, after Brandan Wright suffered a season-ended knee injury, ironically while playing against this Suns team in Phoenix less than two weeks ago. Andersen is listed as out for tonight’s game against the Cavaliers, and his condition will be re-evaluated in 3-5 days.
Bad luck for Grizzlies big men? I’m sure everyone remembers that when Brandan Wright returned to the court after the All-Star break for the first time since November, it was coming right on the heels of starting center and franchise player Marc Gasol suffering a season-ending injury. Is anyone else starting to see a pattern here, or is it just me? Quick, someone wrap Ryan Hollins in bubble wrap, stat.
Lawd no, not my Captain too. Official release from the Grizzlies front office states that both Chris Andersen AND Mike Conley will be inactive for tonight’s game. Andersen with the aforementioned shoulder injury, and Conley with foot soreness.
Wait, Z-Bo and Barnes too? Just got an alert that Zach Randolph and Matt Barnes would both be inactive tonight. What have we done to anger the basketball gods? Whatever it is, can we stop doing it please? Asking for a friend.
But Tony Allen, maybe? The Grizzlies hope to see the return of Tony Allen in tonight’s matchup. The Grindfather last played in the February 19th home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Grizzlies will be in Cleveland tonight to play against the Cavaliers. On the second night of a back to back game schedule, missing roughly fifty-leven percent of the roster? I won’t even pretend to be optimistic about our chances.
