Lakers down Grizzlies in Hollywood amid Allen’s perfect night
The Grizzlies took on the Lakers late Tuesday night on TNT. This season the Grizzlies have not played well on the national TV schedule. This was true again against the Lakers.

Lance Stephenson started off slow but ended good. Born Ready scored 16 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and two steals.
Lance Stephenson just scored 5 points in 1 second of clock time. If that ain't Born Ready, I don't know what is.

Thoughts:
The grind was lacking against the Lakers last night. There were glimpses of it; but, the Grizzlies couldn’t close out and the Lakers wanted it more. Tony Allen reiterated after the loss:
“Take nothing away from those guys. We just should’ve came out here and been much better defensively. We needed it more than they did. Obviously, they were the aggressors tonight.”
The Grizzlies schedule is tough headed into the end of the season. With the injuries to key players, it’s really uncertain how they will be from game to game. Matt Barnes touched on this after the game against the Pelicans:
“I don’t think we have any should win games anymore. Teams look at us and say they should bet us.”
Going forward, the Grizzlies have to be aggressors in every game. They will make the playoffs but the seeding is still up in the air.
This is the season of unpredictability; so we need to get ready for a GRIND.
