The Blues was alright for the Grizzlies against the Jazz

Stats of the Game
What They Said!!!!
GRIZZLIES HEAD COACH DAVID FIZDALE
On the game:
“I was actually really happy with our effort tonight, because we gave it from start to finish. I feel like it was one of those where we played in spurts. I felt like our concentration was all up for most of the game, and that’s what I’ve really been stressing to the guys. We knew it was going to be a battle. What Quin [Snyder] is doing with those guys and the style of play they’re developing – he’s doing a great job. We knew it would be tough.”
“I felt like we really competed on the ball. I thought Mike Conley set a good tone for the game on how we were going to battle on the ball. I thought the last time we played them we were way too soft on the ball. They got anywhere they wanted to get to. Tonight I just feel like we set a real tone on the ball and really competed at a high level.”
On playing with consistency:
“That’s the style of play I want to play for 48 minutes where we’re always in it, whether we’re making shots or not, but we’re always battling every possession and willing to make multiple efforts. Tonight we did that.”
GRIZZLIES CENTER MARC GASOL
On the Grizzlies’ defensive effort:
“It was good. We communicated, and we were very unselfish, defensively. We did a great job moving and using and sacrificing our bodies in multiple efforts, multiple times. That is what it is going to take for us to win. They are a very good executing team and have good patience. They run the clock down. You have to keep doing it and doing it. Plus they are good at offensive rebounding because their movement creates. You aren’t going to be in normal spots for boxing out. You are going to be on the fly so it’s even harder to box out.”
On the difference between the Jazz and the Warriors:
“A different style is all. [The Warriors] are a good team and the team [Jazz] we just played is a good team. They are deep, they have good size and they play different styles with multiple playmakers. They have all the tools. They are a good team.”
On protecting the home court after a dramatic win:
“All of the games are dramatic, looking at it from the outside. We don’t look at it that way. We just keep playing no matter what the situation is. We are just going to try to get a stop and get a score. Whatever happens, happens. We believe in ourselves, we believe in each other, we help each other and we communicate. We believe in what we do.”
On Chandler Parsons:
“He is good. He made shots. He was more confident. He’s playing faster as you can see, and he has more speed to his step. I’m just happy to see him out there and build confidence. He’s going to figure out how to fit into the system and just keep racking minutes. He will be fine.”
