It’s Wrestling Night! The Grizzlies will take on the OKC Thunder at the Grind house tonight. Tip Off is at 7pm. Doors will be opened at 5pm. The Grizz wrestling belt for the first 3000 fans is a hot item that will go fast!

This will be the Thunder first visit to the Grindhouse this season. The teams met on November 7, 2014 in OKC; the Grizz came away with the slim victory and neither Westbrook or Durant played in that game. The game tonight will be very different. As of late, the Grizzlies have been clicking on all cylinders and Zach Randolph has been playing on another level. He’s abused two good defensive players the last couple of games, Tyson Chandler and Kenneth Faried. Steven Adams will have his work cut out for him.

Who’s going to stop Marc Gasol? Kendrick Perkins can’t and Serge Ibaka can’t. Marc shouldn’t have any problems getting the shots he wants and if they double team him, he will more than likely have a nice assist night.

Jeff Green could be a key to victory for the Grizzlies tonight. JG need to attack the basket more to get the OKC players in foul trouble early. The Grizzlies need him and Tony Allen to frustrate Durant (if he plays). JG also need to hit more of those corner threes for his team.

The bench unit need to step up. If Mike Conley plays, then the Thunder will more than likely see Beno and Calathes on the floor for the Grizzlies at the same time. That’s a hard combo to defend. Nick has those out of the world passes and Beno has that sweet midrange jumper. Nick is always out there thieving, so the Thunder better take care of the ball while he’s on the floor.

Jordan Adams may get playing time since Vince Cater is out. JA should have a good game, if he teammates actually pass him the ball when he’s open. He’s a good defender and has no problem attacking the basket.

Make no mistake about it, this will be a tough game with or without Durant. Thunder still will have Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson and Dion Waiters. Grizzlies need to attack early and keep attacking for the whole 48 minutes. They can’t let the Thunder have any kind of momentum.

It’s Wrestling Night and the Grizzlies have a lot of cool things in store for the fans. Wrestling legends, Jerry The King Lawler and The Nature Boy, Rick Flair will be in attendance at tonight’s game. This should have the crowd excited. The Grizzlies need to put the Thunder in the headlock in the first quarter. In the the second quarter, they should have them in a figure four leg lock. In the third quarter, the Grizz will drop the power driver on them. And finally in the fourth quarter, the Grizzlies will finish the Thunder off with the tombstone as the crowd breaks singing Whoop that Trick…RIP to the Thunder and it will be a good night for the Grizzlies!! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
