Last night’s win over the Thunder brought energy back to Memphis and the Grindhouse. Tonight the Grizzlies face the Washington Wizards on the second night of a back-to-back homestand. Get there early to get your Z-Bow Tie!

The Grizzlies are now just 13-10 since the All-Star Break. Tonight’s game is a must-win to hold onto the second seed, and perhaps even home court advantage.

Even with Tony Allen out, last night’s win against the Thunder shows the Grizzlies may be getting out of the recent funk. Tonight should be a strong win for the Grizzlies before a 3-day rest break.

Some info for tonight:
– The Wizards are 41-33 and coming off two wins
– The Grizzlies are tied with Houston at 52-24 but are sitting in the third seed
– As of this week, the Wizards are 10-22 against teams with a .500 record or better
– Paul Pierce is still day-to-day and did not play in last night’s Wizards-Knicks game

Tony Allen, Jon Leuer & Courtney Lee are all listed as “out” for tonight’s game per ESPN. No confirmation yet about Lee. C-Lee contributed 13 points against the Thunder last night, so if he is out, hopefully it will be a quick return to finish out the season. The Grizzlies have six games remaining, and need to go 5-1 to confidently hold the second seed.
