Grizz take on Timberwolves: Franchise History in the making!

Share the joy

Grizzlies made history by winning the first game against the Timberwolves in the season opener in Memphis on October 29, 2014 and have a chance to make history with a win against them tonight. Grizzlies made history by winning their first season opener since they moved from Vancouver. The streak was 0-13. With a win tonight, the Grizzlies will amass the longest winning streak in franchise history with a win tonight. So will the Timberwolves allow the Grizz to keep making history through them?

Game Thoughts

1) Do not let Mo Williams get hot? The Grizz doesn’t need him to go off at any point.

2) Zbo needs to take it to Thad Young and do a better job on him defensively!

3) Jeff Green vs Andrew Wiggins will be a good match up to watch. Which player will have the advantage?

4) Marc Gasol and Kosta Koufos should have their way with Nikola Pekovic and Gorgui Dieng. Gasol shouldn’t have a problem getting them in foul trouble.

5) Courtney Lee needs to be more aggressive and take more shots. The Grizzlies play a lot better offensive when Lee is aggressive and shooting 3s.

6) Protect the perimeter!! DEFEND, DEFEND, DEFEND!!!

7) Nick Calathes and Tony Allen should have multiple steals!!

8) Grizzlies need to win and continue to make this a history making season.
